Louisville Wedding at the Mellwood Art Center

Brittney and Thomas had an incredibly fun wedding! They stopped at nothing to make their Louisville wedding perfect. It was a beautiful spring day and it started at the bridal party’s getting ready location. After Brittney and her bridesmaids were ready, we headed down to Mellwood Art Center in Louisville. It is an incredible, industrial space with huge banquet rooms. It was perfect for a big reception, with a full bar in the back of the room.

Here are a couple of my favorite moments of the day:

• Brittney and Thomas’s first look was so special and stunning. I couldn’t get over Thomas’s face!

• Thomas’s dad officiated their wedding, which was another personal touch that made my heart happy.

• They surprised everyone with a choreographed first dance, and it was AMAZING.

• The reception was a blast, everyone danced and had a great time. I got to play with a little bit of shutter drag to make some of the shots more fun!
