Bridal Shoot at the Galerie in Versailles, Kentucky
Bailey was a COVID bride and was supposed to get married in May of 2020. She had expected beautiful spring flowers and bright spring weather. Her wedding was postponed to October of 2020, in the heart of autumn. It was a perfect fall micro-wedding in Red River Gorge, complete with yellow leaves and beautiful orange flowers. I was able to attend her wedding as a guest and can personally attest to how perfect their day was.
Spring was quickly approaching and Kathy with Ephemeral Florals and I decided we were going to do a spontaneous bridal session for Bailey in early May at the Galerie in Versailles, Kentucky. It also meant that Bailey was able to put her wedding dress on for a second time.
Kathy made Bailey a dreamy spring bouquet, packed with pinks and oranges. We started with bridal portraits in the Galerie’s Bridal Suite (this is where I got married and the getting ready space is PERFECT for a wedding day). There is a court yard area directly next to the Galerie that made the perfect backdrop for more portraits.
If you are thinking about putting your wedding dress back on and doing an after-wedding bridal session, do it!! You get a different vibe and get to relive part of your day.
